Why make a will?

The majority of the population does not have a Will. We recognise that contemplating one’s own death is difficult but making a Will does not accelerate it and is in fact in most cases straightforward.

Making a Will allows you to decide who is to inherit your estate. Otherwise the law will make that decision for you - don’t let that happen to you.

You decide who receives a benefit under your Will, how much or in what shares

You can think about possible tax savings and consider your financial affairs; in short take stock

The law may decide that your husband or wife does not inherit everything; this is a common mistake and frequently can lead to serious problems for the family, particularly where there are young children

Making a Will gives YOU control over how you wish to deal with your estate
